In Motion: The Plan to 2050 was adopted on September 4, 2025

In Motion: The Plan to 2050 is a long-range regional (or metropolitan) transportation plan that will guide the development, enhancement, and management of our regional transportation system. The plan was developed through a two year planning process that included extensive input from those that live, work, or play in the Capital Region. We look forward to working with our many partners to implement the In Motion Plan.
